HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON READING RECEIVES TOP PRIDE AWARD

MEMPHIS, Tenn., February 4, 2002 --Homewood Suites by Hilton has recognized the Homewood Suites hotel in Wyomissing, Pa., as the brand’s top hotel with its Pride Award for 2001. This is the second year in a row for the hotel to receive this award among the brand’s more than 100 hotels nationwide. The hotel’s staff was recognized at an awards banquet during the Hilton Hotels Corporation Conference in New Orleans.

Formerly known as the Pinnacle Award, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Pride Award is based on the hotel’s highest ranking for quality and guest satisfaction. The award’s criteria include customer feedback scores measured through guest satisfaction surveys on the hotel as well as product quality and service scores measured quarterly by the company. The Homewood Suites Reading , an all-suite extended-stay hotel, maintained exceptionally high product and service scores throughout 2001, and also was recognized for earning "Outstanding" ratings on its last four Quality Assurance inspections by the company. In addition to the conference recognition, the hotel was honored with a monetary prize and a trophy to be displayed in the hotel lobby.
