Lancaster, Pa. (May 9, 2007) – Marriott International, Inc. has recognized the Lancaster, Pa. Courtyard by Marriott Hotel with the Platinum Circle Award, the Brand Essence Award, and the Maintenance and Upkeep Award ranking the Lancaster Courtyard among the top two percent of the more than 650 Courtyard hotels worldwide.
The Lancaster Courtyard by Marriott was honored with the Platinum Circle Award at the Annual Marriott Convention in San Antonio, Texas for the second consecutive year. The hotel earned Platinum Circle status for achieving the highest score for excellence in customer service and product quality. The Brand Essence Award was presented to the Lancaster Courtyard hotel for being “most representative of the essence of the Courtyard brand” from among all Courtyard hotels worldwide.
The 133-room-and-suites hotel, located at 1931 Hospitality Drive in the Greenfield Corporate Center in Lancaster, Pa., opened in the summer of 2005. The hotel provides guests with complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, a 24-hour, on-premises convenience market, meeting facilities for up to 40 people, a daily hot breakfast buffet, an indoor heated pool and whirlpool, an exercise room, and a 24-hour business center with PC, fax, and copy services.
